What will it cost in total?
Our fee is on every task on this site. The registry or tax office charges its own fee on top and we list that separately on each one, so you can add the two together before you commit to anything. Nothing is billed by the hour.
What do I need to bring?
Identification and an idea of the name. For anything beyond a first registration, bring whatever papers already exist even if they are incomplete, because a half-finished filing changes what is left to do.
How long does a registration take?
Four working days is the median for a business name and seven to nine for a limited company. Those are the actual measured numbers rather than the registry’s published target.
What if the filing is rejected?
Under four per cent are. When the reason is our error we resubmit at no charge and pay the registry fee ourselves. When it is something outside both of us — a name the registry decides against on the day — we tell you what it will cost before resubmitting.
Do I need an appointment?
Not before eleven on a weekday. After that it is better to write first because the counter gets busy and the signatures take time.
